TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
